How do you deal with despair… when it’s not your own?

So as you’ve probably noticed, suburban America leaves you with no silence. There are so few places you can just go to be alone. Noise from every direction…. it’s maddening. Silence is cruical to living the good life, methinks. Without it, discipline is well nigh impossible.
A friend of mine described being so enraptured by someone that he wanted to better himself for her. This is a beautiful thing. I feel that way, but I forget it sometimes. All the senseless babble that surrounds makes little important things like this easy to miss out on. Of course, I can’t blame my surroundings; I’m as weak as anything. What a joy is found in that simple yearning, though! Life is beautiful.

Debating what to put in the bottom right corner. It’s all blank!

But extra points if I make it a cron job!

German physicians and psychologists have concluded that those who kiss their spouse each morning miss less work because of illness than those who do not. Those who kiss also have fewer auto accidents on the way to work, earn 20 to 30 percent more monthly and live approximately five years longer.
