We just got a new camera yesterday. It’s a Kodak P850. I haven’t had time to really play with it much, but the thing that really stands out at first is the 12x optical zoom. I took this picture while sitting at my desk:

That is a cupon attached to our fridge. If you’ve been to our place, you know about how far away that is from my desk. My eyes aren’t great, but I can barely tell there’s writing on the cupon from here. (The photo would probably be clearer if I took the time to figure out the image stabilizer.)

Hopefully this will be good incentive to take more quality photos. (Thanks to Lem for tips on choosing a camera.)
