Dear Noah,
You were born just two years ago today. When you were on the way we had no idea what you’d be like or how you would change our lives, but now that you’ve been around a while it’s hard to imagine life without you. You’re as cheery as a little guy could be and always ready for a hug.
It’s been great teaching you simple things like the letters in your name. Reading to you every night is a lot of fun. “Again?” “OK, one more time, and then sleep.” “Then sleep.” You just can’t get enough of books, from board books to story books and onward.
Hearing your cry of “Daddy’s home!” is one of the brightest parts of my day. I just have to wonder what the next few years hold for you. What will your favourite book be when you’re eight? Will you love to swim? Are you going to learn to play music? I can’t wait to see what happens, and I’m so glad I get to be a part of it.
